Samsung Electronics introduced World's first curved display smartphone called Galaxy Round. The phone comes with a 5.7-inch Full HD Super AMOLED flexible display with offers 7.9mm thick and weighs 154g. The back cover features a leather-and-stitch-inspired design, just like the GALAXY Note 3.
Coming to the phone specification, the phone powered by 2.3GHz Snapdragon 800 quad-core processor with 3GB RAM. It has 13 megapixel rear camera and 2MP front facing camera. The phone equipped with 2800 mAh battery and comes with LTE support.
The phone comes with some unique features such as Roll Effect, Gravity Effect, Bounce UX and Side Mirror.
- Roll Effect that enables the user to check information such as the date, time, missed calls and battery easily when home screen is off.
- Gravity Effect for creating visual interaction with the screen by tilting the device
- Bounce UX enables users to control their music.
- Side Mirror feature enables users to gain access to list of the album content with a left and right tilt.
Samsung GALAXY ROUND is available in Korea with Luxury Brown, and more colors will be available soon.
