Angry Birds Go! - Kart racing game coming this year

Rovio has confirmed the launch of its next installment called - Angry Birds Go! come December 11. Its built entirely from scratch and is the first game in the series to feature high octane racing.

Finnish developers' Rovio has announced plans for its next installment in the Angry Birds saga called 'Angry Birds Go!', slated for a December 11 release. The next avatar for the Angry Birdsfranchise is a high tempo downhill racing game, featuring upgradable karts, loads of characters with their own set of unique skills and a fully rendered 3D world.
Hasbro's telepads are also included in Angry Birds Go!, which means that you have the ability to teleport your favourite carts into the game. Rovio has built Angry Birds Go! entirely from scratch as a free to play title, with revenues generated entirely through in app purchases and advertising.
The game is slated for a December 11 launch for iOS, Android, Windows Phone 8 and BlackBerry 10 devices, making it the biggest cross platform launch yet for the franchise.
Nonetheless, December 11 seems so very far off when the game comes out. "December 11 is just the beginning. We have huge plans for our first ever racing game and we can’t wait to see what you guys think", adds Rovio.
