Like Twitter and YouTube, Facebook also introduces Embed Post feature on public posts. With this feature users can add Facebook posts including pictures, videos, hashtags and other content directly to your blog and website. Embed posts can be seen by anyone even if they not having the Facebook account.
The Embed posts shows like button on top right corner, allows users to like or share your post directly from your website or blog. People can also start following you on Facebook right from Embed posts.
How to :
- To Embed Facebook post, first check if the post shared to public by hovering your mouse cursor over the audience selector (you'll see a globe icon).
- Click on the Menu icon in the top right of the post and select Embed Post in drop down menu
- Now the dialogue box shows the two lines of HTML code, just copy the code and paste it to your web page.
- That's all! you have successfully Embedded Facebook posts to your website.
According to Facebook the Embed post feature currently available for limited users only including Mashable, Huffington Post, CNN and few others. It will be available for public use soon.
Note: Anyone can Embed your public Facebook posts without asking any kind of permission from you. And you won’t get a notification if someone has embedded one of your Public posts onto a website.
